Difficult to use:
This is called Easy Origami but my granddaughter and I found the instructions difficult to follow.
This is a great beginners book:
I sent this book to an inmate in the county jail. He got a lot of enjoyment out of it. It is for beginners, and has a lot of the basics covered.
Good challenging start at Oragami ... Well worth it:
I purchased this for my 7 year old. The book has some easy start Origami (swan, fish, etc.) and then moves toward others that are more challenging (water bomb, frog, etc.). She really enjoys it. I can see more Origami in her future :) (NOTE: it does not include paper, so I purchased Origami Paper Traditional Prints 8 1/4" 49 Sheets).
Excellent for Beginners:
I have been folding for over 50 years and wanted to find a good beginner's book for teaching. This fit the bill quite well. It has a nice selection of folds, excellent instructions, and is sufficiently brief that the beginner is not intimidated. The low price is also a plus as it has the effect of encouraging the undecided to try it out.
