Great Starter Origami Kit:
Traditional origami can be difficult for young children, and I've seen many become frustrated or lose interest with it. This set is wisely designed with simple folds, dotted rules and pre-printed animal faces. I worked on this with my 5-year-old, who especially liked the blank faces onto which she could place facial-feature stickers. My 8-year-old was able to work independently and was quite engaged with it. This would make an excellent present for children in kindergarten and 1st grade. I'll be stocking... more info
