It gets one star for anticipation...:
My 6 year-old twins couldn't wait to make the Zubber jewelry that they received as a gift for Christmas. That's the only good thing about this product...the anticipation of creating. Nothing turned out after days of measuring and mixing. What a let down! I'm not usually a cup is half-full kind of person but at least my daughters now aren't as gullible to the advertising directed at them!
Do not waste your money:
My ten year old daughter received this for Christmas and it wasn't worth the packaging they put it in. The zubber was easy to mix and mold but the zubber never set. I also tried several different times mixing it and letting it set to see if the directions were wrong. No matter what I tried the zubber was always soft and wouldn't set. I finally got one semi-set after 5 hours and like the other reviewer said it broke within seconds.
Zubber Bands:
I got this for my little sister for Christmas, and even though I'm 26, I had so much fun with it she began complaining I was going to use all of her zubber! She loves it and we went out and bought all of the other zubber sets marked down after the holidays. Our first couple of tries did break because we didn't make the... more info
Frustrating experience:
My 8 year old daughter received this as a gift from a friend. Of course we had to try it right away... The first band we made broke while turning it so that the letters would show, the second band broke when she tried to put it on (she has small wrists so it wasn't really having to stretch to go on her wrist). Overall, very disappointing and frustrating for her. She didn't want to even try to make a third one "It'll just break anyway"
