Customer Review: "The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 Book by Scott Kelby is a very good book for those of us using Lightroom who would like to take better advantage of this product. The step-by-step tutorials are very good and the illustrations are helpful. I would recommend this book to anyone who uses Lightroom. Of... more info
Customer Review: Scott Kelby has produced his usual high standard publication, updated for CS5. Simple staightforward directions. I don't mind his jokes. Only query is whether his resolution recommendation for Epson printers is optimal.
Customer Review: To be honest, I've had this book in my collection for quite some time and hadn't read it yet. After reading the reviews about Mr Kelby's 'poor attempt' at humor, I thought I should read it. I will be honest....I LOVED IT! Not only is there so much great info on photography, but the humor was a... more info
Customer Review: If you're trying to learn how to use the Photoshop Element 8 software, this is not the book for you. When you follow the directions step-by-step, you have a good chance that it won't work the first, second, third, or fourth time. There always seems to be something missing in the instructions.
Customer Review: I love Kelby's #2 so much better. This seemed to be a book that was missing something but still had a few helpful items. I felt it was repeating of his other books.
Customer Review: The book is good and concise if you are familar with some of the functions that are carryovers from previous editions if you are not you will be confused with some of the steps.
Customer Review: I really have to agree with the posts that rate this as a big disappointment ("Down & Dirty Tricks CS4") Let me quickly add that I am NOT a graphic illustrator with deadlines to meet so that the kind of shortcuts addressed in this book would prove VERY helpful. I've used Photoshop for YEARS, way... more info
Customer Review: I'll make this short and sweet. I have had Elements 7 for over a year now and have been way too intimidated to give it a shot. Now that I invested in a SLR camera, I knew I had to learn Photoshop to help improve my images. After lots of research, I ended up buying this book and I couldn't be any... more info
Customer Review: I got the book before the software arrived and looked it over. I read the foreword and this fella is the kind of person that we should all aspire to be. After getting the software and following his guidelines on how to arrange my pictures and folders, I installed the software and started using... more info
Customer Review: I needed to get this book for my Digital Photography class and currently we are up to CS5 (on my computer I use CS4) and it still works together really well so don't be afraid just cause you see CS3 or immediately write the book off. Its a very helpful book for any beginning photographer and its... more info
Customer Review: I bought this book thinking it would be what the title says but it wasn't because it didn't address the questions I had. It was also the wrong book because I didn't have any of the apple ipods featured in the book I will say this though, it is a beautiful book but not much fun! So I returned it to... more info
Customer Review: I read many books (from the library) on Elements 6 but kept coming back to this one. It is easy to understand, is well organized and answers all my questions as they come up. I highly recommend this book to sit on the desk next to your computer as you work.
Customer Review: My husband & I are both iPhone owners. Until yesterday we were both still using the 1st generation iPhone. As of yesterday, my husband has his iPhone 4, & I'll soon have mine. We got this book when we first got our iPhone & highly recommend it. This copy was bought as a gift for a friend... more info
